This is a sort of garden of ideas. What does it means ?.

Long time ago, the latin poet Virgil said : « Felix Qui Potuit Rerum Cognoscere Causas » which means something like « Happy he, who could understand the causes of things. »

Is there in this world anything that deserve dedication more than trying to understand our reality, not only physical reality but the reality of (Wo)Man in all its dimensions ? This site is intended as a garden of ideas dedicated to the understanding of the causes of things, i.e., the understanding of reality (as well as the reality of reality :-).

Of course, the babelian state of Human sciences, and particularly psychology, should make us cautious about such an endeavor. Where shall we take our bearings in such a conceptual multiplicity?

Drawing from the anthropological theory of René Girard as well as the psychological theory of Jean Piaget, an excessively simple model of the psychological organization will be offered in the context of what should be called a genuine "synthetic psychology".

This site is the place where this elementary model of psychological organization will be tentatively applied in as many directions as possible in order to put to the test its relevance, efficiency or « cash value » (like William James would say as a pragmatist).

It is hypothesized that this conceptual model is relevant for every aspect of human life. Thus, it is a very simple and, hopefully, efficient conception which should not be intellectually costly since it is supposed to be found, again and again, all over the place.

As will soon become self-evident, this site is intended for the layman, the educated citizen who wants to learn, think, search, contribute for no other reasons than exchanging and collaborating in order to get a better grasp on the present reality in which we live.

This site is intended as a kind of eden for ideas which can be freely searched, persued, documented, exposed, criticized and/or nurtured by anyone as far as they are descending one way or another from the ideas already planted in the hotbed or in the open fields of the garden. I will do my best to be a faithfull gardener, i.e., to remain invariant in my dedication to the good order of this garden as well as the quality of its production. But I will certainly need your help.

You can volunteer in any directions which are of interest to you with any kind of contributions, whether conceptual, technical or managerial. All are welcomed.

I still don't know exactly how it can be achieved, but even your smallest contribution will be acknowledged as yours.

Just remember that (a) your reflections have to explicitely "cross" over those already planted (b) you should follow the guidelines.

Special thanks to Nicolas from www.ITerating.com who nothing less but created this garden !
