Being
To be, is to be a cause. Nothing more, nothing less.
Cause
A cause is what has an effect, i.e., something which is consensually seen as present when the effect is present and absent when the effect is absent.
Consensus
A similarity of perspective
Object
An object is what is held as the cause of its effect upon our senses. To be objective means precisely that : having a full responsability for the impression done on the perceiver who is, therefore, perceived as innocent and as having no implication at all in the very percept. The feeling of "touching" an independant reality is correlative to the perception of an object.
